Cumberland Community Foundation 40th Anniversary

Cumberland Community Foundation is celebrating its 40th anniversary and as part of that celebration is awarding $400,000 in general support grants to some of its longtime nonprofit partners including the Council on Older Adults. The Foundation has been a tremendous supporter of seniors in our community and has partnered with our organization through the years to increase our capacity to serve older adults and their caregivers with such services as our Meals on Wheels, Community Caregiving Circle, Home Accessibility, and Information & Referral programs.

The Council on Older Adults gratefully acknowledges a $10,000 grant from the Cornelia “Neill” Bullock Wilkins Charitable Endowment Fund for Seniors of Cumberland Community Foundation, Inc.

Cumberland County Council on Older Adults was established in 1968 as a non-profit organization and fifty-one years later we remain committed to our original mission of helping older adults living in Cumberland County maintain their independence at home with dignity.
