Holiday Meals

Every December the Council on Older Adults works closely with Saint Michael the Archangel Knights of Columbus Council 15250 to organize Holiday Meals for local seniors.

Holiday Meals delivery began over fifteen years ago and was created to help seniors in need receive a nutritious meal. Meals include bags of fruit, canned goods, turkey breasts, and milk.

Holiday Meals typically serves over 150 meals to seniors age 60+ living in Cumberland County. The majority of the funding provided for the event is through the Florence Rogers Charitable Trust of Fayetteville.

If you are interested in helping deliver meals, sponsoring the event or know of a senior who may need one delivered call our offices today!
