Retired Senior Volunteer Program

Stay Active With Us!

The Retired Senior Volunteer Program (RSVP) is a national volunteer program for older adults. RSVP connects adults who are at least 55 years of age to programs/organizations with the missions of helping older adults maintain independence at home for as long as possible. Volunteers share their time and talents to help make an impact in our community and address issues.

RSVP Volunteers must be at least 55 years of age. All attend orientation and training from the organization(s) where they will serve, receive supplemental volunteer insurance while serving, mileage reimbursement and recognition for their service.

We are so proud of our President’s Volunteer Service Award Recipients! Click here for a listing.

Welcome to our website! The Council on Older Adults was established in 1968 as a non-profit organization and forty-eight years later we remain committed to our original mission of helping older adults living in Cumberland County maintain their independence at home with dignity.
