Congregate Lunch Program

Good Food, Good Health and Good Times

There are many reasons seniors may not eat well. Fixed incomes may not allow them to purchase quality nutritional foods, physical and/or mental problems may prevent them from cooking, or they simply do not want to eat alone.

The Council operates several friendly lunch sites (listed below) for seniors to come and enjoy a FREE hot nutritious meal and socialize with other seniors.

Program Benefits:

  • Access to nutritional education, fun activities and information about community resources
  • An opportunity to socialize with old friends and make new friends

  • Service provided at no cost helps seniors with limited incomes stretch their finances further

  • Must live in Cumberland County
