Congregate Lunch Program

Participants come together to not only enjoy a FREE lunch time meal, but to gain access to nutritional education, participate in activities, learn about community resources, connect with old friends, and make new friends.  Opportunities may be available to support site activities as a volunteer as well.  The Council operates several friendly lunch sites across the county for seniors to enjoy a nutritious meal and socialize with other individuals.  If you’d like to join us for lunch, please go to the site of your choice (listed below) Monday through Friday between 9AM and 11AM to complete your registration.   

Eligibility Requirements: 

• Must be at least 60 years old 
• Must live in Cumberland County

• Blue Street Cafeteria: 739 Blue Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301 
• First Baptist Church of Hope Mills: 4621 Cameron Road, Hope Mills, NC 28348 
• Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church: 4320 Doc Bennett Road, Fayetteville, NC 28306 
• Spring Lake Senior Center: 301 Ruth Street, Spring Lake, NC 28390
