A Note From Our Interim Executive Director

The Council on Older Adults has been an integral member of the community for 56 years, and I am excited to lead the way in making a positive impact on our senior community each and every day.  Our agency is more than just an establishment providing services within the community.  It’s a friendly voice on the other end of the line, ready to listen and support.  It’s reassurance that you’re not alone in your caregiving journey.  It’s a sense of belonging and purpose provided through volunteerism.  It’s the opportunity to achieve the simplest of goals: being able to live safely within your home and community. 

I am grateful for the support of each caring and dedicated staff member, board member, volunteer, community partner, generous sponsor/donor, and advocate that we work with.  As they say, “it takes a village”… and I invite you to become part of our “village”.  Whether that be through financial support, delivering meals, becoming a companion to a senior at risk of isolation, or sharing with others about the good we do… each act of support, no matter how big or small, helps us to continue meeting the needs of the senior members of our community.
