PRESS RELEASE: Cumberland County Council on Older Adults announces that it has received a $25,000 grant from Meals on Wheels America and The Home Depot Foundation through their joint initiative, Helping Homebound Heroes- a program that provides home repairs and modifications for aging veterans. The funding will support the Council on Older Adults’ efforts to ensure that veteran clients have safe and accessible homes.
Cumberland County Council on Older Adults was established in 1968 as a non-profit organization and fifty-five years later we remain committed to our original mission of helping older adults living in Cumberland County maintain their independence at home with dignity.
